Junior Leagues (JL1, JL2, JL3, JL4)

12 & Under Tournament Age Group

13-15 Age Group

16-18 Age Group

We can't stress enough how important it is for you to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled tee time!  Your tee time is the time you are scheduled to hit your first shot, not the time you are to arrive at the golf course.  Junior League players need to allow enough time to check in, pay greens fees, get their scorecard, and arrive at the first tee.  Repeat offenders will be disqualified per USGA Rule 6-3.

If you play a practice round at one of our host courses, please let them know that you are in the JGA.  All host courses donate course time for our tournaments and appreciate knowing that you are using their facilities throughout the season.  Click here for a list of host courses.

All information about Rules, Code of Conduct, Tee Times, and Results will be updated on the JGA website as often as possible.  Make sure to bookmark www.kalamazoogolf.org/junior and add jga@kalamazoogolf.org to your address book!

12 & Under Instructional Group:
Week 1 went well and we will be practicing in a similar fashion again this week.  For those of you without clubs but are interested in purchasing a new or used set, leave us a note with your name and phone number with your child's name, age, height, right or left-handed, and price range.  We will try to find a set of clubs in your price range.

With the size of the group, tee times at Red Arrow will range from 8:30 until 1:00 at 10 minute intervals.  It usually takes the 9-12 age group 90 minutes to 2 hours to play 6 holes and the 8 & under age group 45 minutes to play 3 holes.  Once we set the tee times, they will remain the same until the August 11 tournament.  Please plan accordingly and email us if you have a time preference and/or a grouping request.  (Remember, only 4 players may play in a group at a time.)
